As you are aware, the NSW Government has announced the Greater Sydney lockdown until at least August 28, with a further review at the end of this time. After consultation and review of the complexities involved, the Diocesan Athletics Carnivals have been cancelled.

We share your disappointment in these decisions; however, given the timing of these events so close to the lockdown period and with all events listed involving multiple schools, large numbers of teams, parent/carer drop off and pick up complexities and involvement from both secondary schools and many external officials and providers it became a sensible decision in the end.
