Principal Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
On behalf of the staff and school community, I would like to acknowledge the tremendous support and direction that I have received over the past two weeks from the Catholic Education Office Diocese of Wollongong, Catholic Schools NSW and the Public Health Unit, Illawarra and Shoalhaven. Please continue to pray for all doctors, nurses and emergency workers, those affected by the COVID outbreak and lockdown, and any of our school, parish, or family members who need our prayers.
As we come to the end of Term 3, there is so much to be grateful for. Who would have thought we would be learning from home for the past ten weeks.
Thank you to our wonderful parents and carers who have juggled work, remote learning and caring for the family. I want to acknowledge and congratulate our community for the way in which you have all responded to the challenges posed by COVID 19 this term.
I am indebted to our staff, who have been working tirelessly planning and organising all of the work for the students and providing feedback and support every day. They have continued to collaborate professionally, providing the best possible learning for the students. Finally, on behalf of the St Francis of Assisi staff, thank you to the students for your engagement and the way you have approached your learning this term.
I'm hopeful that the holidays will provide a much needed break from the demands of remote learning and that all our families can find quality time to spend together. Please stay safe and well until we meet again (remotely) in Term 4.
