Religious Education & Parish News
Thank you to everyone for celebrating our feast day in different circumstances this year. I would particularly like to thank all those who participated in the liturgy. We have had a few liturgies while we have been in lockdown, and with your support, we have been able to pray together in a truly meaningful way through these liturgies.
Socktober for Mission Month 2021 - Mission Sunday is 24th October
Socktober is, first and foremost, a means through which schools and students can celebrate World Mission Month in October. Catholic Mission encourages us to engage with our mind, heart, and hands. This entail three elements:
-
Listen - to the 'note of greatest need' in our neighbouring community of Thailand;
-
Pray - for God to give our neighbours strength to prevail and ourselves the strength to respond
-
Act - on the lack of resources in this community to enable them to continue to live with the dignity they deserve.
