It is that time of year again, where our Year 5 students are preparing to challenge themselves by taking on the responsibility and honour of being a leader of our school. 

This process will begin next week, when our Year 5 candidates will present their speeches to their peers in Year 5, Year 4 and Year 3. Staff and students will then have the opportunity to complete a survey with targeted, relevant questions to determine the suitability of each student to a leadership role. 

Whilst we will view every Year 6 student as a leader next year, the titles to be selected will be: School Captain (2), School Vice Captain (2) and House Captains (8). All other students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their leadership as part of a leadership team within our school. 

Selected Captains will be announced prior to the end of the school year, although the badge ceremony will not take place until early 2022, with the hope that families will then be able to join the presentation.
