This term Kindergarten is focusing on "living things". The classroom has transformed into a farm with paddocks of animals, fresh produce, a farm kitchen, stalls, a billabong and more! We will be exploring what makes something 'living' and how weather can impact living things. We will look into the impact of floods and drought on living things - particularly farms and how this further impacts our lack of food sources. It is a great unit full of practical hands-on learning experiences and gives the students many opportunities to connect their prior knowledge and make connections to real-world situations.
