Enviromental Team
We have been busy in the garden this week! There is always something to do, and even if there’s not, we can always dig, dig, dig! Making volcanos and turning them into the mud was one of the highlights for some of the students from Kindergarten.
We had a look at our worm farm and noticed they needed some new soil to be happy. We soaked a coco brick in water and watched it expand. The coco brick will give the worms a great habitat to thrive. Then we added it to one of the layers in the worm farm. After that, we added the worms and gave them some spinach leaves to eat. The worm farm is so much fun to explore!
This week we also planted some flowers for our new garden bed. We had the St Francis of Assisi environmental team doing a great job planting. Now the garden looks lovely, full of colours and different textures for the students to explore.
