Anzac Day

ANZAC Day Dawn Service 2023

Thank you to our school leaders, their families and staff who represented the school on April 25 at the Dapto-Port Kembla RSL Sub-Branch Service in Port Kembla.

It was wonderful to be part of the large gathering, and to catch up with the student leaders from St Patrick's Primary School, Port Kembla.

Anzac Day is an opportunity to celebrate and recognise those that have and still continue to serve our country. May their courage inspire us to give generously and serve with humility and gratitude each day.

ANZAC Day Prayer Service
Last Thursday, we gathered as a school community to commemorate ANZAC Day with a special prayer service.

ANZAC Day is an important day for Australians to remember the sacrifice of those who have died in war, to pray for peace, and to acknowledge those who continue to serve our country as part of the Australian Defence Force.

Thanks to Ms Maloney, our student leaders and other key staff who organised and led our ceremony.

We must give thanks to Deacon Mick, who generously gave up his time to be an integral part of this service. He looked fantastic in his uniform, and was incredibly patient with the students, taking the time to answer many questions from inquisitive students. A wonderful learning experience for the students outside the classroom.
