This term Kindergarten is exploring Living Things.  This includes how weather can affect living things such as in times of flood or drought. The playspace is set up with many wonderful areas for the children to learn through play. We were fortunate enough to have our resident beekeeper Mrs Welch come and introduce us to the wonderful world of bees. She brought in a frame from her beehive, taught us all about how special the queen bee is, and let us smell and taste the honey straight from the honeycomb! What a rich learning experience! We have also introduced 'Quiet Reading' after recess where the students read by themself and practise their wordbox using their whisper phones. They are doing a great job so far!  Kinder can't wait for more wonderful learning to take place this term! Enjoy the photos!
