Our school-wide PB4L focus for Weeks 3 and 4: "Being Respectful".  Focusing on supporting and cooperating with other students. This involves things such as working with others in your class, or in the playground, as well as having positive social interactions, so that you are able to make and maintain friendships. Cooperating also means encouraging others to do their best, and showing appreciation to people for what they contribute to a group situation.
Our Social and Emotional Learning focus has been accepting others’ personal space and boundaries. Students have been reminded that if someone gets too close, politely say to them “Please can you move out of my personal space, I don’t feel comfortable.” If someone asks them to do this, they need to respect them and remember it is OK to give them space.

Triple P - Positive Parenting ProgramTriple_P.JPG
This is a free online course for parents and comes highly recommended. It assists you in managing everyday challenges with positive parenting strategies. Childhood is made up of many little moments; difficult, magical, and more. As we all want what’s best for our children – now, and in the future – it’s good to be able to make the most of every moment, whether it’s savouring the great ones or coping confidently with the tricky ones. Little kids can have big emotions.
Triple P - Positive Parenting Program tips:
* Boost their emotional wellbeing and maintain a good relationship,
*  Make family life less stressful and more enjoyable - even in tough times,
* Set good habits early and prevent problems from getting worse with practical strategies you can start using straight away.
