Our PB4L focus during Week 6 has been Being Responsible, specifically Taking Care of School Property. It is important that students treat school property with respect, so we can enjoy our facilities and comfortable spaces at our school.
Examples of what we have been working on in week 6 are:

  • Caring for the play equipment,
  • Reporting any damage or accidents that happen in the school,
  • Keeping their class area tidy, and
  • Keeping the toilets clean and tidy.

Our Social and Emotional Learning focus has been: Being an Upstander. Being an upstander means helping someone in need, and not watching things happen. If we see someone who needs help, we should support them the best way we can. This can be by asking if they are OK, stopping the negative behaviour of others, or seeking a teacher to help.

Congratulations!

After they have received 40 Happy Cards, they receive a Citizenship Award and a Silver Medallion. Congratulations to the following students who received their Playground awards at the Week 5 Assembly.
