Kinder Cleans up St Francis!
Kinder rolled up their sleeves recently to help keep our playground at St Francis of Assisi.
Kinder rolled up their sleeves recently to help keep our playground at St Francis of Assisi.
They picked up lots of rubbish from all over the playground and continued to clean up the classroom areas as well - all with a smile on their faces!
Thanks for taking pride in our wonderful school!

Harmony Day
Kindergarten enjoyed learning about the cultural backgrounds and differences within the class. We discussed what makes us all special and how being different is actually a wonderful thing! On Harmony Day we enjoyed doing activities that encourage us to be inclusive of each other and celebrate our differences. We did crafts, sang songs, listened to each other's stories, learnt how Harmony Day is celebrated in other parts of Australia and ended a wonderful day of celebration with our school assembly.
Kindergarten Learning in Literacy takes off!
Kindergarten is working super hard in all areas of learning, but especially Literacy!
We are enjoying reading books, practising our word boxes (with sight words and high-frequency words inside) and now we have started writing sentences! Kinder also loves to send updates of our wonderful work home on Seesaw and they upload these photos all by themselves! We help each other and we encourage each other to try our best. We know that mistakes are OK and this is how we learn!
Ms Beckhaus could not be more proud of our efforts so far!
