A special thank you to our Year 4 students who kicked off the first of our Celebration of Learning Assemblies on Friday afternoon last term. The students began with a song recounting the Easter story, followed by some students explaining how their prayer place had changed to reflect the season of Easter. The colour has changed from violet to white and gold to reflect the joyful season. Year 4 also explained how they had been using their Mathematics skills to explore ways Caritas could utilise funds to support communities in need. The students also showcased a variety of artworks, engaged the audience with a quiz on significant Australian celebrations and commemorations, and enlightened us with their understanding of Forces in Science. Thank you, Ms Maloney, Mrs Zaffonato and our Year 4 students, for sharing your learning journey with us and presenting the awards. We hear you can’t wait for your next opportunity to lead an assembly. Great work, Year 4!
