Welcome Back

Welcome back everyone to our final term of 2019. This is another busy term, with lots of learning and celebrations occurring throughout the term. It won’t be long until we farewell Year 6 and commence the summer holidays. If you have any questions about your child’s progress before the End of Year Reports go out later this term, please don’t hesitate to contact the class teacher.

Staff Development Day

The staff participated in a Mathematics Staff Development Day in Week 10 last term. On this day we looked at our sequence of learning and teaching, revising which aspects we teach at the various times throughout the year, so that the needs of the students are addressed. The staff also looked at the Mathematics resources that we have available for lessons, assessing whether they are current and accessible to all.

Term 4 Celebration of Learning

This term we will have the Year 6 Celebration of Learning in Week 6 and the Year 2 Celebration of Learning in Week 8. Please join us at these assemblies.

ICAS

The ICAS Assessments are now complete for 2019. Congratulations to all of the participants. We should start receiving the results soon.
