Over the past few weeks, students from Year 2-6 have been eagerly participating in the School Handball Competition. This was born from an increased interest in handball, and any student wishing to participate had the opportunity to do so.
After a knockout-style competition, congratulations to the students below who have been crowned class champions!
Well done to everyone for getting involved, and for your sportsmanship towards fellow competitors.
Thanks to Mrs Agius for volunteering her time to organise and run this competition for the students.

Representative and Gala Day Sports Costs
Thank you to our P&F for their generous support in covering the majority of the 2024 sporting costs. There have been significant increases in expenses for children to participate in Representative Sports and Gala Days. Due to the increased cost, the P&F will support half payment in 2025 to reduce the cost for families. These fees are charged by the venues to cover their costs. 2025 sporting fees will be minimal and will be required when providing consent via Compass.
NSWPSSA Golf State Championships
Last week, I had the privilege of attending the NSWPSSA Golf State Championships as manager of the MacKillop Golf Team. This event, held at Hunter Valley Golf Course, brought together the best primary school-aged golfers in NSW. I am proud to say that I was honoured to represent MacKillop and work with a wonderful group of students and families. MacKillop finished the team event in second place out of nine regions in the state, a remarkable achievement!
Congratulations, Mr Murphy, for being selected to represent the Wollongong Diocese as team manager at this event.
