Representative and Gala Day Sports Costs
Thank you to our P&F for their generous support in covering the majority of the 2024 sporting costs. There have been significant increases in expenses for children to participate in Representative Sports and Gala Days. Due to the increased cost, the P&F will support half payment in 2025 to reduce the cost for families. These fees are charged by the venues to cover their costs. 2025 sporting fees will be minimal and will be required when providing consent via Compass.
Cost to play sport survey
Cost to play sport survey
The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and Federation University are conducting a study to understand the costs associated with delivering and participating in community sports.
To gather valuable insights, we'd like to invite you to complete a short online survey about expenses related to sports participation.
The results of this project will be used to make recommendations to inform the ASC sports policies and strategies to minimise the cost of playing sports.
We encourage you to complete the survey with the details below. The survey closes at 5pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 31 December.
Thank you for helping us foster an understanding of the costs involved in community sport.

Congratulations Mia - Year 5
On Sunday 24 November, Mia travelled to Sydney to compete in the BJP Physical Culture National Finals for 11 year olds.
After a long day, we are proud to share that Mia finished in 5th place in this National Competition. Her hard work and dedication this year has clearly paid off. Well done Mia, this is an outstanding achievement.
