On Friday 21 March, we celebrated Harmony Day and the diversity of our community at St Francis of Assisi. We welcomed students, parents and teachers in our different home languages and wore cultural dress or orange clothes to symbolise we all belong and are proud to call Australia our home. We heard the story of one of our students, as she talked about her journey and experience moving from Iraq to Australia. This is one of our favourite celebrations because of the rich cultural background you all bring to our school every day of the year!
