Student Wellbeing Officer
Hello! My name is Alana Sullivan. I am the new Student Wellbeing Officer at St Francis of Assisi, Warrawong. I have been in this role for the past 5 years across the Illawarra.
Previously, I was a Primary teacher, specialising in Diverse Learning Needs, EAL/D and Reading Recovery. I have recently completed a Diploma in Art Therapy and am now studying Counselling. I like learning and helping our precious kids. I have four adult children who have all flown the nest! I am available on Thursdays and Fridays. Feel free to see me any time on those days!
The Student Wellbeing Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the emotional, physical, and mental health of students within an educational setting including developing wellbeing programs, collaboration for student needs, one one-on-one support to students experiencing personal or academic challenges, and a point of contact for wellbeing support.
