Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers
On Sunday, we commemorated the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. We celebrate not only their journeys and sacrifices but also the profound unity they embodied in spreading the Gospel. These apostles, with their unique personalities and backgrounds, were transformed by Christ into pillars of a unified faith community. In our ministry, we witness a similar diversity among those we meet, each bringing invaluable insights, talents, and experiences, which enrich our shared mission of living and preaching the Gospel.
Pope Leo XIV reminds us that “God's call is universal and enduring, offering hope and purpose to all who answer. Like Peter and Paul, who despite their differences were integral to the early Church's growth, we are called to find strength in our diversity.” Our faith unites us, transcending barriers of language, culture, and circumstance. Reflecting on their example, we are inspired to embrace both tradition and innovation in our community. Peter's steadfast leadership and Paul's pioneering spirit remind us that our faith journey thrives on both continuity and openness to new perspectives.
As we come to the end of Term 2, let us heed Jesus' timeless question to Peter: "Do you love me?" May our answer, echoing Peter's affirmation, reflect our commitment to discipleship and unity in Christ.
As we approach the last few days before the break, it has been wonderful to see our students demonstrating such a strong commitment to their learning. I hope each student feels proud of their accomplishments and achievements this semester. Reflecting on the term, we have had many highlights across faith, learning, and well-being. The students have also had the opportunity to participate in learning experiences that fostered critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and a love for learning. A sincere thank you to our dedicated staff for their ongoing support and hard work. Here’s to building on these successes and creating even more memorable moments next semester. I hope everyone enjoys the break.
