End of Term 3
Thanks to everyone in our school community for another wonderful term. It has been a busy term, with lots of events taking place. Despite this, our focus at St Francis remains on improving student faith, learning and well-being every day. Our staff strive to improve learning outcomes for all students as we educate the whole child each and every day. Thanks to all of our parents and carers who work in partnership to ensure that your child is thriving. As always, please don't hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions or concerns. We are always willing to work with you to support you in any way we can.

Student Workbooks
Science and Technology and Personal Development/Health Workbooks were taken home at the end of last week. Thank you to the parents and carers who took the time to look at the learning your child has been involved in, and completed the reflection slip in their workbooks.
Public Speaking
A huge congratulations to all our amazing Year 5 and Year 6 finalists who participated in the School Public Speaking Final last week. Your confidence, creativity, and dedication were truly inspiring. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Paul and Tony from Toastmasters for their expert adjudication and encouragement. Your support means so much to our students. Special congratulations to Ayva (Year 5) and Mia (Year 6), who were crowned winners of this year’s competition! These two talented speakers will proudly represent our school at the next level in Term 4. We wish you all the best.
Student Leadership Policy 2026 and beyond
After a lengthy consultation and planning process involving Fr Damien, students and staff, we are pleased to announce a remodelled student leadership structure. This comes in response to the changing dynamic of our school community, and ensuring that equity is central to the process, allowing all students to be leaders in different ways that support their unique strengths, gifts, and talents.
