Basketball Gala Days
What an incredible two days of basketball! Last Thursday, our Year 3 & 4 students shone on the courts, followed by our Year 5 & 6 students giving it their all on Friday. The energy, sportsmanship, and teamwork displayed by our students were truly inspiring.
We are especially grateful to our amazing staff for their hard work in organising and supporting this fantastic event – your dedication makes all the difference! A heartfelt thank you also goes out to our parents and families who came along on both days to cheer on our students, with a special mention to everyone who took on extra roles to support us on Thursday. Your support means so much to our school community.
We’re proud to share that the school received wonderful feedback from convenors and other schools about the positive engagement and spirit our students brought to the event. What a proud moment for our school!
Well done to everyone involved – we can’t wait for the next gala day!

NSWPSSA Golf State Championships
This week, I had the privilege of attending the NSWPSSA Golf State Championships as manager of the MacKillop Golf Team. This event, held at Barooga Cobram Golf Club and Tocumwal Golf Club, brought together the best primary school-aged golfers in NSW. I am proud to say that I was honoured to represent MacKillop and work with a wonderful group of students and families. MacKillop finished the week in 1st place in the Nett competition and 2nd place in the Stroke competition. Out of 14 regions, this is a tremendous result. Well done!
