Good Manners = Safety
It is important for the safety of everyone that parent drivers visiting the school should always be respectful to other drivers and follow courtesy rules and road rules. When waiting to pick up your child from school, please be patient and wait at the end of the line until it is your turn.
Back Lane
Just a reminder the back lane is closed during wet weather due to the narrow walkway and lack of shelter from the wind and rain.
School Zone Rules & Safety
The front of the school is a no parking zone. This only allows parents to
drop off and pick up during the times shown on the sign.
Please note: -
- Parents can only stop in this zone for no longer than 2 minutes
- Parents must remain within the vehicle
- The vehicle must not be left unattended
Fines and loss of demerit points do apply and may be incurred by Police patrolling the school zone.
SLOW DOWN & DRIVE SAFELY @ SFAW
Local residents have made concerns about the unsafe driving of motorists, particularly at the busy time of before and after school. It is extremely unsafe to do a "U-turn" on the crest of the hill of Flagstaff and Bruce Road outside the Church. We suggest allowing extra traveling time during these peak periods. We advise the local Police will be patrolling and monitoring all drivers to ensure road rules are being followed during these busy times and advise traffic fines will be issued, however, those punishments pale in comparison to the horror you will feel if you seriously injure an innocent child or person.
