Kindergarten has been exploring lots of topics during their Play Based Learning time each morning. In History, we are developing our knowledge and understanding of 'Special places' and how we care for those places. In Geography, we have been exploring different kinds of maps and learning about their purpose - the children just love creating treasure maps! Within our Literacy play, the children have enjoyed using the beach and camping area and exploring concepts from our Shared Reading texts through art and hands on experiences. We love to use the Mathematics area to learn numbers and show our understanding of numbers. We are having so much fun playing with each other but we are also learning so much while we are playing!
