The Catholic Education Office and St Vincent de Paul have asked local schools and teachers to take part in the KNIT4NEED Challenge. There seems to be an increased need for warm garments this winter, in particular beanies, scarves and blankets. As a response, the KNIT4NEED challenge is being extended to our school communities. The challenge is to actually make (knit/crochet) a garment for a person in need in our community. We will then wrap it up as a gift with a personalised note from the creator and present each item to those in need at the end of July via the Vinnies Van.
