Premier's Reading Challenge
The Premiers Reading Challenge is still continuing until 28 August. So, keep up the wonderful reading. A HUGE congratulations to the following students who have already completed the Challenge.

As a result of Covid-19, Premier’s Reading Challenge has given us the opportunity to read 10 free choice books instead of the normal 5! A few students have asked how to add to the free choice booklist, please see instructions below.

Book Week 2020

Good news! The Children's Book Council of Australia will now hold Book Week 2020 in October on the following dates: OCTOBER 17-23.

These later dates will apply in 2020 only, recognising the exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. From 2021, the CBCA expects that the annual Book of the Year Awards and CBCA Book Week will revert to their normal schedule. 

St Francis of Assisi has also decided to move our Book Week celebrations to Term 4. There will be more information about Book Week later in the term.
