We have been engaged in an artist study on Piet Mondrian. Mondrian’s art is characterized by geometric vertical and horizontal black lines with the 3 primary colours of red, yellow and blue. The artist strives to find visual balance using lines of varying thicknesses, the primary colours, and areas of black and white. The children have done a wonderful job in creating their own Mondrian-style artworks.
