Science in Years 5 and 6
In Year 6 we have been learning about electricity, circuits, electrons and circuit breakers. We have conducted some experiments, including making a lightbulb light turn on. It was fun acting as electrons in a circuit. It explained how the electrons take energy from the battery to the lightbulb so it can light up and then the electrons without energy cells travel back to the battery to do the same cycle over and over again until the energy in the battery runs out.
